I’m a mortgage lender based in Central Iowa, and I specialize in helping people who are relocating, moving into their next home, or looking for a smarter way to buy for the first time.
I created Mortgage Made Simple to cut through the noise and give buyers clear, honest guidance rooted in real strategy—not sales scripts. Whether you’re across the street or across the country, my goal is to help you understand your options and move forward with confidence.
When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my wife Brittany and our three kids—usually hunting for vintage finds, flipping through a good book, or catching live music somewhere local.
My Story
I got into this business from the other side of the table—working with people who didn’t qualify for a home loan yet, but were determined to get there. I spent years helping folks clean up credit, get their financial footing, and fight through a system that often felt stacked against them. That’s where I learned how powerful the right plan—and the right guidance—can be.
Eventually, I stepped into lending full time, bringing that same clarity-focused approach with me. I’ve never been the “fast pre-approval” guy or the “rate chaser.” I believe most people don’t need hype—they need someone to actually walk them through this. Someone who will slow it down just enough to make the right move, not just the fast one.
Today, I work with clients across Iowa—especially families relocating, planning their next home, or buying for the first time. I built Mortgage Made Simple and the Clear Mortgage Plan to give them something most lenders skip: context. Strategy. A process built around their life, not just a transaction.
